Art Quilt Exhibition & Lecture

Lecture: July 15 at 1pm

Durham-based fiber artist, Sauda A. Zahar, will present an Art Quilt show in the Voice of the Spirit Gallery this July. This exhibition is a sampling of art quilts and quilted sculptures created during Zahra’s 25-year journey in quilt-making. The art shows how Zahra combines a range of themes, techniques, and materials to create original narratives. Each quilt provides a glimpse into the artist’s creative process and evolution.

In addition to leading a workshop for quilters and sewers, Sauda Zahra will present a lecture on July 15. She will talk about her journey in quilting, referencing many of the quilts in the exhibition. All are welcome!
