WHAT IS WORSHIP LIKE AT WEST RALEIGH?
Welcoming, participatory, and full of music! Worship at West Raleigh invites us to connect with God and one another. Worship is livestreamed and archived on our YouTube channel.
WHAT IS FAITH FORMATION LIKE AT WRPC?
Learn, listen, discuss, explore, and imagine! A variety of classes and groups equip us to explore and deepen our relationship with God and one another.
WHO IS WELCOME?
Everyone is welcome. West Raleigh welcomes children, youth, college students, and adults of all ages. We welcome siblings of many faith experiences and siblings exploring faith for the first time. We welcome siblings of all sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, learning abilities, cultural backgrounds, and ages.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
We create multiple spaces for children in worship: their gifts and energy are always welcome. These spaces include Theology with Children (in worship), Children’s Worship (Pre-K – 3rd or 4th grade) following Theology with Children most Sundays, and, for households who are interested, childcare provided by child care professionals. Loving and safe childcare is available in room 115 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. June - August).
MAY A VISITOR TAKE COMMUNION?
Yes! The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) celebrates an open table, declaring “all who come to the Table are offered the bread and cup, regardless of their age or understanding.”
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
West Raleigh’s parking lot (2502 Vanderbilt Ave) is located on the corner of Horne Street and Vanderbilt Avenue. It is accessible via Vanderbilt, across the street from the church. Please note that the lot is relatively small, so we encourage you to leave plenty of time to park if you'd like to secure a spot in the lot. Ample street parking (free on weekends) is available on the blocks surrounding the church as well as on Hillsborough Street.

WHERE SHOULD I ENTER THE BUILDING?
There are two main entrances on Sunday mornings—a covered entrance on Vanderbilt Ave. and a large red door in the courtyard facing Horne Street.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
You’ll see everything from denim to dresses—come in what feels most like you.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS?
