Dear Members & Friends of West Raleigh,
This Commitment Season, Building on Our Promises, has been a feast of abundance! Over 25 people from across the generations have contributed reflections on promise-keeping to run in the E-news, print in the bulletin, and offer in worship! We have even had original artwork for the bulletin cover! Friends, these testimonies bear witness to West Raleigh’s commitment to our mission statement to be a community of God’s people, nurtured in the love of Jesus Christ, reaching out to the campus, community and the world beyond!
This Sunday we will keep building on our promises! We are delighted to welcome a group of new members into the life of the church. These folks have found a church home at West Raleigh and are responding with their own commitment to the worship and ministry of the church! Later in the worship service, we will dedicate our 2024 pledges, our promises of time, talent and financial resources to keep building beloved community at the corner or Horne and Vanderbilt Streets.
